I’m a decentralized and plural technologies researcher and advocate, primarily focused on decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

Some stuff I do:

• Run the Decentralization Research Center, a nonprofit organization with a mission to support nonpartisan decentralization research and act as a hub for critical stakeholders in order to encourage equitable ownership, governance, and regulation of emerging technologies that impact our everyday lives

• Co-founded the Blockchain Association and the Canadian Web3 Council, the leading industry associations for blockchain companies in the United States and Canada respectively

• Advise startups, including as a mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab

• Previously worked as a Venture Partner at Hangar, a fund that invests at the intersection of tech and policy, and specialized in technology law as an attorney at Goodmans LLP, a Seven Sisters firm in Toronto
